User Guide

Device & Car:

Mobile Application:



Insert the SIM card:

1\ Make Sure the SIM card is the right size (Micro SIM)

2\ Locate the SIM card slot on the side of the device

3\ Use the SIM eject tool or small paperclip to open the slot cover

4\ Find the drawing on the device to make sure the SIM card is on the correct direction

5\ Insert the SIM card inside the slot and close the cover



Remove the SIM card:

1\ Open the SIM slot cover using the eject tool

2\ Insert the eject tool in the small hole at the top of the SIM slot

3\ Gently push the eject tool to the opposite direction to remove the SIM card



The OBD port:

The location of the port is mostly in the lower area of ​​the driving wheel



Plug motorna device in the vehicle:

The device is connected to the OBD port directly without the need for labor or installation devices, just like plugging the charger into the power socket.



Create a new account:

1\ Open Motorna Application

2\ Press Sign in\up button

3\ Enter your phone number

4\ Input the OTP code received via SMS.

5\ Enter the Serial number of your Motorna device

6\ Enter the activation code then press "Enter"

7\ In case you can't find the serial number & the activation code press "Can't find it?Click here."



Log in:

1\ Open Motorna Application

2\ Press Sign in\up button

3\ Enter your phone number

4\ Input the OTP code received via SMS.



Change/Edit user Information:

1\ Press on the side menu icon in the top corner.

2\ Press on the user picture at the top of the side menu

3\ Edit your personal information (Picture, name, email, phone number),



Switch Application Language:

1\ from the sidebar menu press on the language icon at the top corner

2\ Choose your preferd language (Arabic, English) then press "done"

3\ Restart Motorna application to update the language



Notifications Settings:

1\ Press on the side menu icon in the top corner.

2\ Press on the user picture at the top of the side menu

3\ Edit your personal information (Picture, name, email, phone number), notification prefrence & document expiry alerts.



Add/ Set Documents expiry notification:

1\ Press on the side menu icon in the top corner.

2\ Press on "Motorna" Option

3\ Choose the car you want to set the document expiry alert for

4\ Below the car information you can press on the "Document Expiry Notification"

5\ Add Photo of the document

6\ Enter the document details (Name, Expiry date, Description), then press save



Add family member/user:

1\ Press on the side menu icon in the top corner.

2\ Press on "Family" Option

3\ Click on the plus (+) button at the top corner

4\ Enter the new family member/user information (Picture, name, email, phone number),



Delete User:

1\ Press on the side menu icon in the top corner.

2\ Press on the user picture at the top of the side menu

3\ At the bottom of the page click on delete account

4\ A confirmation message will be shown, press confirm



Add new Car:

1\ From the side menu choose "Motorna"

2\ Click on the plus (+) button at the top corner

3\ Enter the car information (Nickname, Brand, Model, Make year, Speed limit)

4\ Click on "add device" and select the device

5\ Click on "Add driver" and select the driver

6\ Press on the save button at the top corner



Set Speed limit for a Car:

1\ From the side menu choose "Motorna"

2\ choose the car you want to change the speed limit for

3\ You can find the "Speed limit" option in the car information section

4\ Choose the speed you want and it will be saved automatically



Add new Device:

1\ From the side menu choose "Motorna"

2\ you can choose any existing car or add new car

3\ In the car information Click on "add device"

4\ Click on the + icon at the top corner

5\ Enter the new device information

6\ Press on the saving button at the top corner



Open/Close Wi-Fi:

1\ From the side menu choose "Motorna Wi-Fi"

2\ Beside the car name you will find the Wi-Fi switch, you can turn it On/Off



Using the road assistance:

1\ From the side menu choose "Road assisstance"

2\ You can find 3 main section (Emergency, Hospitals, Maintainance)

3\ Based on the needed assistance you can choose the concerned entity

4\ You will see the location information and distance, and you can click on it to be redirected to the maps



Adding Zones:

1\ From the side menu choose "Zones"

2\ Click on the plus (+) button at the top corner

3\ Press on the map to select the wanted zone

4\ Enter the zone information (Name, Notification Type In\Out, Time, Car)

5\ Press 'done" to save the zone information



Subscription renewal:

1\ From the side menu choose "Subscription"

2\ Choose the device you want to renew the subscription for

3\ Choose your favorite payment method (Credit Card, Visa, Apple pay)



Ask For Technical Support:

1\ From the side menu choose "Support"

2\ Choose your request type (Complaint, suggetion, inquiry)

3\ Enter your name (Optional)

4\ Write your request or message

5\ Attach photo (Optional)

6\ Press "Send", and we will get back to you if needed as soon as possible



Log out from App:

1\ Press on the side menu icon in the top corner.

2\ At the bottom of the menu press "Sign Out"



Browsing the notifications and trips history:

1\ From the bottom navigation bar in the home page choose either "Notifications" Or "History"



View each trip details:

1\ From the bottom navigation bar in the home page choose "History"

2\ Choose the date from the calender

3\ A list of the chosen date trips will be shown below the calender with details (Date, distance, used feul, time)

4\ You can press on the wanted trip to view extra details (Trip path on the map)



Filter Alert/Notification:

1\ From the bottom navigation bar in the home page choose "Alerts"

2\ Press on the filter icon at the top corner/p>

3\ Choose the dates, car & alert type/p>

4\ Click on show result to filter the alerts



Find location of certain alert:

1\ From the bottom navigation bar in the home page choose "Alerts"

2\ Click on the wanted Alert to view location details on the map



Find current trip details:

1\ It will be shown on the live map at the home page

2\ You can check the live location for your car, car status, distance, feul level, duration, date & time



Track more than one car:

1\ From the bottom navigation bar in the home page choose "Motorna"

2\ A list of your cars will be shown and you can choose the car you want to track



Browse different added cars:

1\ From the side menu choose "Motorna"

2\ you can brows all the existing cars or add new car
